WHY LIBERIA?

CAN'S PRESENTATION 2017 (dragged) 8.jpg

Liberia is a country in West Africa which was founded in the 1800s, established, colonized, and controlled by citizens of the United States and ex-Caribbean slaves as a colony for former African American slaves and their free black descendants. The constitution and system of government of Liberia were modeled on that of the United States. Liberia's first constitution was written by Professor Simeon Greenleaf of Harvard Law School in 1847. Liberia’s population is 4.5 million which is about the size of the state of Ohio.

 LIBERIA FACING OVERWHELMING CHALLENGES
